This custom engineered and designed campus-wide Epicure Digital Centra Menu System is integrated with the CBORD Foodservice Suite® and replaced NC State’s original manual-entry Epicure Digital Classic Menu System. It is installed on eight 40” LCD Menu Boards in the six-station Talley Pavilion dining hall; on six 40” LCD Menu Boards and one Greeter Board in the On The Oval dining hall; on six 40” LCD Menu Boards in the One Earth dining hall; on three 40” LCD Menu Boards in the Atrium dining hall; and on multiple size LCD Menu & Greeter Boards at the AYCTE Clark, Fountain and Case Residential dining halls.
Menus automatically display by meal period on 7-day, 14-day or 28-day menu cycles; include calories and nutritional menu labeling icons including their own Wolf-Approved (mascot) icon representing well-balanced healthy items; and animated stock food photography.
This project included all menu engineering and information design, nutritional menu labeling, creative design, production, programming, software, Centra Cloud Service, system architecture, LCDs, project coordination with food service and IT, ongoing support and training.
