EPICURE DIGITAL THE CURE FOR THE MENU BORED
The Cure for the Menu Bored
We study your menus through their complete menu cycles, and using a marketing approach, we evaluate menu strategy, design and content to solve your complex menu engineering and point-of-sale issues. Menu boards are programed with Epicure Digital LiveText, and LiveMenu Technologies so operators can change menu items, prices and descriptions easily and quickly using our web based, intuitive interface or back-of-house third-party food service menu planning and nutrition data base system. Menu boards typically feature animated food photography.

Promote your menu items with multimedia promotions at the point-of-sale
Making full use of the company’s design services and digital production studio, digital menu boards and signage become a digital marketing medium that enhance the customer experience through multimedia promotions of daily specials and limited time offers.
Working with our client's architectural, design, networking and contractor teams, Epicure Digital designs and coordinates a customized hardware and software solution for each installation. The company reviews plans, manages the progress of team members, meets on the phone and internet and remotely installs and configures the system.
Every custom designed Epicure Digital Menu System begins by analyzing the client’s input and scope of project. To do so, it is critical that the company receive correct and full information.
MENU: text document or spreadsheet of complete menu cycle
FLOOR PLANS & ELEVATIONS: point-of-sales locations
GRAPHICS: food photography, branding guidelines and graphic files
ARCHITECTURAL BOARDS: finishes, renderings, color chips, and textiles.
These requested items are usually emailed as digital files. Original items, such as architectural boards, are returned as soon as possible.
Stage 2 cannot begin until Stage 1 is completed.
Epicure Digital studies your menus through all of their menu cycles and uses a marketing approach to evaluate menu strategy, design and content decisions to solve complex menu engineering and point-of-sales issues. Epicure Digital prepares basic layouts (gray boards) for review. The layout of the gray boards are based on the following:
MENU CONTENT: number of categories, items, descriptions price points, and day parts
LEGIBILTY: viewing distance and line of sight between customers and LCD's, customer age range, and store lighting
SPACE REQUIREMENTS: for food photography, promotions, slide shows, text messaging, live feeds, etc.
CONFIGURATION: physical placement and arrangement of the LCD’s
Once gray boards are approved, Epicure Digital designs the system and prepares a presentation for review. The presentation shows how the system will look to the customer. It includes the color palette, typography, graphic elements and any other relevant visuals. When this is approved, programming and production will begin.
When Epicure Digital receives approval, the design concept is made functional and tested. Testing evaluates performance broadcast quality of the design and the technology to assure everything plays.
Epicure Digital then presents movie files by e-mail and dropbox for review.
Once approved, Epicure Digital begins programming and production: activating multimedia presentations of menus, promotions, slide shows, text messaging, live feeds, menu templates, menu cycles, day parts, and schedules, etc.
Epicure Digital specifies all required components, reviews plans, and coordinates installation with your architectural, engineering, contracting and networking teams. Hardware is installed by the client. If desired, Epicure Digital will arrange for a local audio/visual company to quote the installation.
Epicure Digital trains your staff to access and control the system using Epicure Digital Web access, the password secured user interface for the system. It can be accessed using any web browser on any computer with an Internet connection.
